Management of the following

Day to Day & weekend work planning

Supervising & co-ordination of the teams

Risk assessments on every job

Safety audits - including safety file is always updated

Arrange work permits timeously

Tool audits, tool box talks & dress code audits

Weekly (min.) stock counts

Store management

Setting up the team (Planning of Material & Tools Required)

Quoting/Scope of work

Mastering Site layout - Zones, Cabinets, Distribution, Routes & Client Standards

Drawings

Job cards & quality document to be signed within 2-3 days once job is completed

Material used per job to be documented

Document & report port details to site supervisor

Drawing up timing plan on projects

Drawing up job status reports

Daily report to management

Escalation & resolutions

Ensuring a safe and tidy workplace

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

Knowledge of theory & practical installation of Copper & Fibre Optic Cabling

Splicing & terminating

Building cabling infrastructure

Testing of all cabling installations & interpretation of results

Investigation & repairs of cabling faults

Matric Exemption

Advanced Word, Excel & Visio required

Proven work experience as a team leader

Computer literate

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Organizational and time-management skills

Decision-making skills

Team player

Client Relationship builder

Licenced Driver

Will be required to act in the capacity of surrounding posts.

Will be required to work overtime.

Will be required to work at various sites.

Must be able to work on heights (ladder/cherry picker)

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: R18000,00 - R30000,00 per month
