Job Summary Are you looking to expand your skill set? I have fixed term contract in a large multi-national organisation. REQIERED QUALIFICATIONS: NQF 6 Technical Qualification (minimum 360 credits), NDip / BTech Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering EXPERIENCE: Welding experience would be advantageous Project management experience essential Good knowledge of welding processes, jigs and C/Fs will be advantageous Good technical knowledge of plant production systems would be advantageous High level of computer literacy is needed for this position. (Excel, Word, Auto Cad, SAP) Knowledge of PLC programming, Automation and Robotics is advantageous Knowledge of ISO 9000 & 14001 requirements essential Automotive Manufacturing KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: FET Cost Planning must be able to accurately establish cost estimate for input into product brief reply for budget approval and establish detail schedules in order to meet project milestones FET Procurement Establish basic equipment specification and compile close tender bid package with clear and concise scope of work for both Local & Overseas procured facilities Cost planning, Budget tracking & Control Short- and long-term strategic planning and schedule management FET Installation preparation Equipment buy-off at Vendor and installation preparation including rough plant layout FET Installation /Commissioning Close collaboration with plant / vendors & TMC/TDEM to ensure safety compliance as well as quality and other production related targets are achieved on time and within budget Handover Compile data from production trials & co-ordinate handover Meeting with all related divisions then finally to Plant Safety Ensure FET compliance to Company SHE stand
