Plan and execute oversight activities (inspections and audits) of screening organisations following laid-down procedures
Conduct oversight inspections of screening organizations following SACAA safety and security oversight policy and procedures and submit comprehensive reports as per the approved Master Surveillance Plan and monthly planning
Conduct inspections and audits of Screening Organisations as per the training and certification MOP
Monitor the implementation of recommendations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of operating standards by screening organisations
Conduct screener examinations and skills tests to certify screeners
Approvals Evaluate MOP and provide recommendations for approvals of screening organizations Administration
Perform job-related administration duties
Maintain aviation security screener and screening organisations database
Handle internal and external correspondence on industry matters related to certification
Maintain accurate records and filing of all certification documents
Enforcement
Inform the Executive on intent to take enforcement action
Follow up requests with Legal Department
Conduct Investigations and support litigation procedure
Liaison and Consultation
Participate in initiatives to promote the Aviation security training
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and SACAA
Provide industry feedback to SACAA
Conduct workshops to assist with the development and compliance within the industry
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant National Diploma or NQF Level 6 qualification.
K9 Explosive Training Certificate/ Assessor Certificate/ Moderator Certificate/ Basic AVSEC Certificate
Ideal Qualification:
Aviation Security Diploma.
DH-level Certificate.
Inspectors or Auditing Certificate.
Experience:
3 years Aviation Training or Certification and or K9-Explosives Detection experience.
