Job Description


Manage the planning, prioritization, organization, and coordination of digital funnels across various digital platforms. Ensure the successful implementation of projects and Marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing user experience and conversion rates. Offer guidance to squads, Marketing teams, agency and user experience enhancements, providing insights on marketing campaign performance, digital platforms, analytics, and addressing anomalies to improve conversion ratios.

Job Responsibilities

  • Tailor and develop data driven KPIs in the measurement of strategic objectives.
  • Track and measure ROMI.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret post-campaign insights to inform and contribute to the development of future campaigns.
  • Effectively manage the delivery of analytics and insight services to the stakeholders and by understanding, assessing, and managing escalated analytics and user experience risks and objectives associated with programmes and projects
  • Design and implement campaign user journey for each campaign, incorporating AB testing methodologies
  • Continuously encourage customer centricity by defining in all the funnels through insights and customer testing with the Design teams.
  • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement digital strategic objectives of the Bank.
  • Manage end to end customer experience in the Journey, deliver a world class user experience through others by ensuring a client centric culture through required interventions
  • Continuously analyze app performance metrics through tools like Appsflyer, to identify areas for improvement and optimization, encompassing various aspects of app campaigns and reporting.
  • Continuously optimize in-flight marketing campaigns, achieving an increase in user conversion based on analytics.
  • Take ownership of fixing identified issues within the marketing campaign user journeys and oversee their implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with the agency to consistently monitor the performance of ongoing marketing campaigns. Identify A/B testing opportunities to improve creative elements and messaging based on insights derived from paid media reports.
People Specification

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Field of Study: Relevant Tertiary Qualification

Preferred Qualification
Bachelor of Arts: Marketing, Bachelor of Commerce: Marketing

Essential Certifications
Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA)

Minimum Experience Level

2-3 years in analytics (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics or Appsflyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava)
2-3 years in digital sales optimisation (knowledge of A/B testing and experiment

Technical / Professional Knowledge
  • Analytics Skills (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
  • Digital sales optimisation
  • Expertise in software development processes (Agile/Scrum and CI/CD) utilising technologies (e.g. GIT, JIRA, Kanban)
  • Industry Trends
  • Adobe Journey Analytics Knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks (e.g. CSS, HTML, JS, React)
  • Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) & Power BI
  • Appsflyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava
