Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line to third-line infrastructure support.
- Maintain and enhance network, server, and storage infrastructure.
- Administer firewalls, routing/switching, DNS/DHCP, and Active Directory (including Azure AD).
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot outages, and apply necessary upgrades.
- Manage Windows Server environments (20162022), including builds in Hyper-V and Azure.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Maintain security best practices aligned with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and Cyber Essentials.
- Participate in disaster recovery, backup, antivirus, and business continuity planning.
- Document systems, processes, and configurations.
- Support on-call duties as part of a rotating shift (includes nights/weekends).
- 45 years in an infrastructure or systems engineering role
- Strong knowledge of firewall/router technologies and network security concepts
- Proficiency with Windows Server (20162022) and Windows 11
- Experience with Active Directory (multi-site and Azure AD), DNS/DHCP
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Experience supporting on-prem and Azure-hosted environments
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues independently
- Hyper-V, IIS, AWS, Amazon Connect
- Zendesk, Twilio, Nerdio
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
- Experience with customer service or BPO environments
