The Infrastructure and Network Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the organization's infrastructure and network environments, which are delivered through a network of outsourced service providers. This includes ensuring the delivery, performance, observability, and cost-effectiveness of critical infrastructure and network services across multiple countries, time zones, and regulatory jurisdictions. This strategic leadership role plays a vital part in supporting hybrid and multi-cloud provisioning, ensuring robust WAN, SD-WAN, and NaaS services, and aligning infrastructure capabilities with business operations and growth.
Oversee the design, provisioning, and lifecycle management of hybrid (on-prem/cloud) infrastructure and platforms.
Ensure infrastructure is right-sized, secure, and scalable to meet business demand.
Own the performance and availability of the organization's global WAN, SD-WAN, and NaaS environments.
Drive continuous optimization of network topologies and architectures across regions. Proactively follow up with suppliers and finance teams to resolve payment issues.
Plan capacity upgrades and failover strategies to achieve minimal downtime.
Continuously monitor link utilization, packet loss and latency; fine-tune configurations to eliminate bottlenecks.
Build, negotiate, and manage SLAs with outsourced providers.
Serve as the primary point of accountability for third-party infrastructure and network services.
Establish and enforce performance metrics, KPIs, and service quality standards.
Implement observability frameworks for proactive detection, monitoring, and reporting across infrastructure and networks.
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of infrastructure supporting business operations.
Define and oversee robust asset and configuration management practices.
Ensure accurate inventory tracking and configuration control for infrastructure assets.
Monitor and control infrastructure and network spend.
Drive efficiency and cost transparency through FinOps-aligned practices.
Ensure infrastructure and network compliance with local and international regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST).
Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts across jurisdictions.
Maintain network diagrams, configuration baselines and runbooks.
Define VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), QoS policies and IP addressing schemes.
Implement firewalls (stateful, NGFW), intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS) and zero-trust segmentation.
