Responsibilities:
As the Information Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our information security vision, strategy, and governance

Your key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing information systems and company security.
• Evaluating, reporting on, and suggesting innovative ideas to counteract security threats.
• Developing and executing steps to protect the companys interests.
• Providing expert advice and leadership on security policies.
• Auditing current systems and implementing new standards, frameworks, and processes.
• Managing IT security operations and deploying robust cybersecurity technologies.
• Conducting IT Security Risk assessments and minimizing threats.
• Responding to information security incidents promptly.
• Establishing and maintaining controls for compliance and security.
• Collaborating with business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in information security, computer science, or related field.
• Relevant certification(s) preferred (CIPP, CIPM, CISSP, CISM).
• 5-7 years of experience in information technology security.
• Expertise in security principles, standards, and risk management.
• Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management.
