Industrial Engineering Internship - Port ElizabethFull job descriptionFresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company more than 40,500 employees worldwide.We are dedicated to a higher purpose "caring for life" which drives excellence in everything we do.The manufacturing plant in Port Elizabeth produces both small and large volume parenterals.We are recruiting an Industrial Engineering Intern who will training in the following aspects during the internship:Good manufacturing practices training and orientationProcess familiarizationStandardization of Change over times using SMEDVisual Performance management and 5S best practiseTime studiesMachine capability studiesOEE calculation and reportingMaterial Usage variance studyData analysis using pareto principleExposed to Fishborne problem solving toolStaticalical Analysis and plotting of P' ChartsNormal distribution curves and Central limit theoremLean manufacturing practicesIntroduction to statistics using Microsoft Excel and MinitabMethod studies of collecting Data. Requirements:Industrial Engineering GraduateMicrosoft Office Experience(Microsoft Excel Intermediate/Advanced level)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations.Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.Ability to meet deadlines & attention to detailGoal & result orientationProblem-solvingContinuous improvementAssertiveness
