Incoming Material Technician, Paint
Job Description
Undertake root cause analysis and ensure Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA's) are implemented.
Ensure non-compliant material is not loaded on to the system.

Read and interpret graphs to ensure product specification and tolerances are met
Troubleshoot equipment; manage calibration and preventative maintenance processes.
National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Related.
Minimum of 2-3 years within the Automotive Industry
Minimum of 2year experience within Paint Shop.
Check material specifications against CoAs.
Be able to use lab equipment to validate material specifications
Validate each incoming vs outgoing batch and work with Suppliers.
Process Capability of related processes.
Maintain Process Audits of processes.
Maintain and Create Model related OIS for material checks.
Escalate any batches not meeting specifications and have ERA.
Support Paint Shop ISO Co-Ordinator with expired/ quarantine materials
Conduct pour-outs and spray-outs to validate material performance.
Manage and track daily solvent usage.
