Job Description
Position: Inbound Shipping and Claims Coordinator
Industry: Distribution, Warehousing and Freight
Location: Cape Town - Western Cape
Salary: R18,000.00 per month
Minimum Requirements are:
- Excellent telephone communication skills.
- Accuracy with figure work.
- PC literacy and accuracy.
- Good command of the English language grammar and spelling.
- Handle the liaison with shipment clients.
- Prepare customs clearance documents on computer.
- Co-ordinate customs clearance procedures and delivery of the consignments.
- Calculate quotations for inbound shipments.
- Assist with outbound enquiries and quotations.
- Make bookings to view for the sales consultant.
- Make bookings for collection and delivery of shipments.
- Make bookings with shipping lines and transporters.
- Prepare documentation for exports e.g., letters of confirmation to clients, export waybills, typing of marine insurance certificates.
- Filing, emailing, faxing, photocopying and all other duties relating to sales and inbound and outbound traffic.
- Comply with Outbound/inbound shipments as per their International procedures.
- Claims administration.
