As an IFRS 17 Accountant (CA(SA), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), specifically IFRS 17, which governs insurance contracts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret and implement IFRS 17 accounting standards, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to the organization's financial stability. Duties:

• Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with IFRS17.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data and insurance contracts to calculate insurance liability figures.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to IFRS17 guidelines and regulations.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect necessary data and provide insights on financial reporting.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements to streamline IFRS17 compliance.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours / CTA
• CA (SA)

Experience:

• CA(SA)
• Proven experience in IFRS17 accounting within the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
