Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• A Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree (Preferably a BSc) in Information Technology or Computer Science
• A Masterxe2x80x99s Degree (Preferably and MSc) in Information Technology or Computer Science advantageous
• Certificate in 5G mining / Digital mining operations compulsory
• Any relevant additional certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc) advantageous
• CISCO CCNA / HUAWEI ICT Certificates highly advantageous
• Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License

Experience:

• Minimum 8 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as ICT System Analyst in hard rock gold / platinum mining operations, IT Superintendent / Manager, or a similar position
• Minimum 5 years practical experience with loT system development on a 5G-enables mining operations

Knowledge and Skills:

• English: Fully Proficient
• Mandarin: Fully Proficient (Preferred)
• Advanced Computer Literacy
• 5G enables mining operations, utilization of loT system in digital mining operations
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer and server hardware
• Excellent knowledge of security and data privacy principles
• Expertise in IT tools and concepts, such as operating systems and internet protocol suites
• Solid knowledge of LAN / WAN configurations
• Extensive knowledge working with Microsoft Office 2016, 2019 or Office 365
• Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel
• Strong attention to detail with competent vocabulary
• Good communication and report-writing skills
• Capable of assisting / guiding employees who do not have extensive knowledge and experience in computer systems
