Our client is a local South African business based in Johannesburg, focusing on the telecommunications industry and IT industry, providing fibre to the business and fibre to the home services.
The ICT Sales Manager's will be responsible for:
- Identifying small, medium and large enterprises and proposing technical solutions within the scope of the company's network.
- Manage FTTB and FTTH staff, including time management, tracking customer meetings, professionalism, and co-ordination.
- Identifying new areas with sales potential, working with the technical team for feasibility studies, and determining projected profits exceed expenditure.
- Ensure that personal and team sales targets are met.
- Effectively design and implement and marketing strategies.
- Management and coordination of promotions on social media platforms and email/SMS notifications
- Ensure that pricing models are compared with competitors on a regular basis.
- Monitor trends in the FTTH and FTTB market.
- Maintain good relationships with customers.
- Implementation and maintenance of CRM.
The preferred candidate for the ICT Sales Manager role must meet the following requirements:
- A diploma in IT (preferably networking and cloud solutions)
- At least 8+ years in ICT technical sales
- At least 8+ years managerial experience
- A proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets
- A strong understanding of IT solutions and technology trends
- Must have managed services experience
- Must have solid experience in IT solutions
- Must have managed a team currently
