Supporting the operation, development and maintenance of Hyperion, and assisting with other specified activities in the consolidation and financial statement process.

Minimum Experience
Minimum of 5 years of post-article experience in understanding multiple IT systems that performs consolidations. This includes having understanding system architecture of an IT environment, and review of consolidations and financial statements in a Listed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Hyperion system administration and review of consolidations
Understanding the Hyperion environment end to end, including maintenance requirements as well as longer term development of the system to meet changing needs in terms of business reporting and technical IFRS requirements
Providing of Hyperion Training to the finance community
Management and support of the consolidation's specialists with the other consolidation managers
Management of the HFM application, duties include:
Management of monthly patching / updates
Maintenance of users, adding / terminating / monitoring of inactive accounts
Monthly loading of average and spot exchange rates
Management of security classes
Pro-active management of the rebuild process
Report maintenance and updates
Adding of new packs and structures as needed.
Various ad-hoc reporting requirements
Management of the Hyperion rebuild discussions / implementation in respect of IFRS 18
Assist in the review of the consolidation and financial statements of the Group
Performing business analysis, including understanding the various businesses in the Group in order to analyze the appropriate income statement structure for each business applying IFRS 18.
Any other ad-hoc request from senior management

Advanced excel skills
Advanced in depth knowledge of IFRS and JSE Listing requirements
Advanced knowledge of consolidations
Knowledge of IT consolidation systems, with Hyperion being an advantage
