Job Description
Job Summary
:
- Carry out inspections, routine servicing, and component replacements on a range of air-conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Liaise with clients across the Western Cape to plan and execute maintenance activities efficiently.
- Travel regularly to client sites to ensure systems are operating at optimal performance and that a high standard of service is consistently delivered.
- At least 5 years of hands-on, in-depth experience with chilled water systems (essential requirement).
- Proven competence in working with 2-way and 3-way chilled water systems, condenser water systems, chillers, DX units, pumps, ventilation equipment, electrical circuits, control panels, and cooling towers.
- Strong understanding of critical electrical and mechanical components, including thermostats, 4-way valves, motors, shafts, V-belts, accumulators, and bearings.
- A valid driver's licence is required.
- Trade-tested in a relevant field.
- Gas license highly advantageous.
