ACCIONA Energy South Africa Global is currently recruiting a Human Resources Specialist to provide specialist Recruitment and Training Management services and to assist in generalist activities at our Cape Town office.



Mission:
Implement the assigned parts of the project within his/her unit/department, in keeping with established procedure, facilitating compliance with established deadlines and coordinating the necessary resources (human and material), so as to contribute to significantly improving the project.

They are responsible for managing different areas of Human Resources that affect affiliation and payment processes, including: hiring processes, terminations, upkeep of master data related with compensation and benefits, absences, retirements, statistical reports for internal and external Administration, administration of systems and processes for calculation of payroll and payments to employees, implementation of compensation programmes and benefits, management and selection of external suppliers, etc.

Recruitment

  • Full cycle recruiting in industrial or renewable energy sector. The individual will be responsible for sourcing, screening, presenting to hiring manager, coordinate interviews, follow up with candidates/hiring manager and on-boarding administration.
  • Negotiating external agencies rates for successful candidates within the recruitment budget to achieve company objectives where a suitable candidate is not found direct.
  • Position ACCIONA Energy South Africa Global as an attractive employer through the development of relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Utilise relevant agreements, policies and legislation to provide expert recruitment consulting advice to managers and staff.
Training
  • Coordinate training initiatives including safety, technical and leadership training activities.
  • Manage the implementation of learnerships and bursaries in conjunction with the Economic Development Department.
Generalist Activities
  • Provide administrative support for other Human Resources activities such as performance management and Human Resources policy administration.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Appropriate Human Resources qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years' previous recruitment experience and a minimum of 2 years' generalist experience.
  • Previous working experience in the Energy, Engineering or Construction industry highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement and proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Availability to travel is a requirement of the position.
