REQUIREMENTS



Valid driver's license

Purpose of the Position



To support the organization by managing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance etc.

Key Responsibilities



Recruitment & Onboarding of talented and skills personnel within the retail space Manage end-to-end recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers) Coordinate onboarding and induction of new employees in the province Maintain recruitment records and employment contracts based on the best practices

Employee Relations



Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries Handle grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement

Performance Management



Support performance appraisal processes Assist managers with performance improvement plans (PIPs) Track performance review cycles and documentation

Training & Development



Identify training needs in collaboration with Exco and managers Coordinate internal and external training programs Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness

Compensation & Benefits



Assist in payroll coordination and salary administration Manage employee benefits (leave, insurance, bonuses, incentives) Ensure accurate HR data for compensation reviews HR Policies & Compliance Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations Maintain employee records and HR systems

HR Administration



Maintain employee files (physical and digital) Track attendance, leave, and absenteeism Generate HR reports and metrics

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices Organizational and time-management skills Confidentiality and ethical judgment Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Proficiency in HR software and MS Office

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree or 3-year Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2-5 years of HR experience Experience within the hospitality and retail industry preferably
