Introduction
Future Careers is recruiting on behalf of a leading national retailer headquartered in Bellville, Cape Town. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their senior HR team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead the end-to-end HR portfolio for one of the group's key retail brands.
Description

• Develop and implement HR operational plans aligned with business and group strategy.
• Oversee HR administration, reporting, and data analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Drive culture, engagement, and change management initiatives across the business.
• Manage remuneration, benefits, and performance management processes in partnership with senior leaders.
• Lead workforce planning, succession management, and talent development initiatives.
• Oversee Employee Relations and ensure compliance with all relevant labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, etc.).
• Partner with the leadership team on HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Education Profile

• Qualification: Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Experience:

• Minimum 6 years' experience as an HR Manager within a corporate head office environment.
• Proven success managing a small HR team and aligning HR practices with business strategy.
• Retail experience (head office or operations)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills across all organisational levels.
• Sound understanding of South African labour legislation.
• Demonstrated project management and change leadership capabilities.
• Results-driven, resilient, and capable of operating in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to retail operations when required.
