Position Overview: They are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to lead their HR initiatives and ensure the seamless functioning of the team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive HR experience, particularly within the hospitality industry, and demonstrate a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal regulations.
• Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding of new staff.
• Oversee employee relations, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Administer employee benefit programs and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and ensure optimal workforce planning.

Additional Details: The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing a robust HR function at Shamwari Private Game Reserve. This challenging yet rewarding task involves the creation of a comprehensive HR framework, beginning with recruitment and extending through performance management, employee engagement initiatives (including end-of-month/year celebrations and interspersed fun days), and culminating in the implementation of thorough exit interviews and strategic manpower planning. Supervisory Responsibilities: The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the HR team. The dynamic of the team requires effective leadership to harness their strengths and drive the successful implementation of HR processes.
