Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES



Organisational Design-Co-ordinate organisational design processes and collaborate with line



managers in reviewing and updating organisational structures



Job Profiling & Evaluation-Facilitate compilation of job profiles and job evaluation process



Talent Acquisition-Compile resourcing/staffing plans and manage recruitment, selection,



placement and induction processes in line with applicable turnaround times and Employment Equitytargets



Employee Relations-Establish and maintain stable employer-employee relations, managementunion forums, organisation restructuring processes, wage negotiations, disciplinary hearings,grievance handling, incapacity and dispute management.



Productivity Management-Monitor tendencies that affect productivity (i.e. absenteeism/sickleave/overtime) and initiate corrective actions.



Policy and Procedure Reviews & Implementation-Provide input into policy and procedure reviews(for approval) and ensure fair and consistent application by all stakeholders.



Change Management and Capacity building-Manage change, train and advise employees and



managers on human resources processes, policies and procedures



Contractor Management-Manage service providers in way that ensures efficiency, effectivenessand compliance to service level agreements and applicable legislation



HR Administration & Document Control- Implement "Hire to Resign/Retire" administrativetransactions and ensure proper record keeping and filing of all activities.



Reporting-Compile periodic reports on various HR analytics for effective decision making andinterventions.



REQUIREMENTS



QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or related



EXPERIENCE



Minimum of5 years'HR generalist experience servicing multiple functions in a manufacturing and multi unionised environment, working experience in organisational design, job profiling and Human Resources Information Systems
