Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the housing textiles and garments manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly experienced HR Director to join their executive leadership team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving both the strategic and operational direction of human resources, ensuring alignment between HR practices and overall business goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture, supporting workforce development, and guiding organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Alignment

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Advise executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Anticipate future HR needs in line with industry growth and market trends.
Policy Development and Compliance
  • Design, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor legislation and employment regulations.
  • Oversee HR audits, governance, and risk management practices.
Talent Acquisition and Management
  • Lead recruitment, selection, and workforce planning strategies.
  • Build a strong employer brand and talent pipeline.
  • Ensure efficient onboarding and retention strategies across the business.
Performance Management
  • Implement performance appraisal frameworks and KPIs.
  • Support leadership with coaching, feedback, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Drive alignment between individual performance and company objectives.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Develop and oversee competitive salary and benefits structures.
  • Conduct benchmarking and maintain equitable pay practices.
  • Manage healthcare, retirement, and wellness benefit programs.
Employee Relations and Engagement
  • Promote a positive workplace culture within a manufacturing environment.
  • Manage conflict resolution, employee relations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Training and Development
  • Create and oversee learning and development programs.
  • Drive leadership development and succession planning.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
HR Technology and Systems
  • Implement and manage HRIS and HR-related digital tools.
  • Use HR analytics to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure data protection and privacy compliance.
Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Manage HR departmental budget effectively.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities in HR operations.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.
  • Define departmental roles and responsibilities.
  • Foster accountability and continuous improvement within HR.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in HR leadership within the manufacturing or industrial sector (textiles/garments advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in change management, organizational development, and HR technology implementation.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
