Job Description


Position Title: Human Resources Officer.
Location: Tzaneen, Limpopo. JOB PURPOSE The HR Officerxe2x80x99s role is to ensure the business is compliant in all aspects of Labour legislation and expectation. The need to advise and give guidance to Line Managers in successfully and consistently providing the support in various human resources and functions. Advise the Human Resources Business Partner regarding all matters that involve conflict resolution and area action planning. Assist in the development of Human Resources procedures and processes. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.

  • Grade 12 with at least 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in HR Consulting experience.
  • Post Grade 12 qualification i.e., Certificate, Diploma or Degree related to Human Resources Management.
  • 1-3 yearsxe2x80x99 SAGE experience.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Driverxe2x80x99s License and Computer literacy.
  • Supervision, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Adhering to principles and values.
  • Goal orientated and driven.
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Recruitment and People Management.
  • Manage and co-ordinate the recruitment process within area of responsibility by:
-Actively review Ideal vs Actual xe2x80x93 100% compliment on team members. -Form part of the Interview and selection panel for Team members
-Form part of the interview and selection panel for SS and ARM Managers
  • Analyse the quality of team member packs received vs store turnover figures, to identify possible reasons for high turnover rate due to problems with i.e., screening, understanding, interviewing and or training etc.
  • Monitor the employee life cycle by conducting xe2x80x93 Probation interviews with selected candidates.
  • Conduct exit interviews with all Managers in area of responsibility with the reason xe2x80x93 Resignation, also conduct exit interviews with team members in high turnover stores.
  • Managing Team Members turnover.
People Development.
  • Form a key part of the SS xe2x80x93 ARM interview panel.
  • Bench documentation validation and submission (SS - RGM)
xe2x9cx93 Confirmation of certification. xe2x9cx93 Payroll and IR record check
  • Get successors ready for promotion by ensuring a continuously monitored and customized development plan is in place.
  • To be the facilitator and coordinator with the Area manager, to drive and monitor the bench targets.
  • Capability of Training and upskilling operations department on HR related processes
Industrial Relations.
  • Staying up to date with all the latest changes to BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHS Act and gazette compliance.
  • Act as Specialist on Industrial Relations by providing clear and structured guidance on all disciplinary cases, for Area Coaches, Restaurant general Managers.
  • Draft, issue and capturing of Disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain a proper IR record keeping - digital system.
  • Assist with compiling evidence for all CCMA matters within area xe2x80x93 to the IR consultant.
  • Responsible to process and successfully close all absconsions within area.
  • Responsible for actioning Level 1 IR matters.
Administration and Service Delivery.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and processes
  • Payroll xe2x80x93 Compile and validate the correctness of data and report to HRBP:
  • Strictly maintain and advise on Company policy and procedures within area of responsibility.
  • Advise and align with Area Managers and Stores to secure and use the correct HR documentation.
  • Periodically report to your direct Line Manager on KPIxe2x80x99s within area:
  • Ensure all Labour Department inspections are actioned and closed successfully in time.
  • Owns Delivery of and execution of HR Processes and Compliance:
xe2x9cx93 Performance Management. xe2x9cx93 So Good Survey / Internal Survey engagement. xe2x9cx93 Employment Equity compliance.
