Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Human Resource Manager based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
Requirements:
Post graduate degree in Psychology, Industrial physiology or Human Resource management.
Additional qualification in the form of an advanced diploma in Labour Law, Financial Management, Management Development, etc. would be advantageous.
10 to 12 years of relevant Human Resources experience of which at least 8 to 10 years must have been spent at Senior HR practitioner level.
Experience obtained in heavy engineering or in a mining environment would be advantageous.
Must possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Soft Packages.
Conflict resolution experience gained from a multi-cultured environment will be a necessity.
Management experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage and provide guidance to a team of HR professionals.
Develop strategies and implement labour relation matters which includes providing advice to line management, ensuring the consistency of disciplinary codes and ensuing internal dispute resolution.
The incumbent will be accountable for managing the decentralised HR operation teams.
Ensure that the required HR service is provided with respect to all key HR deliverables including:
Recruitment
Remuneration Management
Sick leave
Disability Management
Employee Equity plan implementation.
Identify, write, review and update HR policies when required and function effectively as part of the HR management team.
