The HRBP: Talent is responsible for ensuring that the recruitment cycle runs smoothly, develops and implements attraction strategies and uses Organisational Design principles to ensure that the workforce is sufficiently staffed with the correct talent at the correct time. It identifies and addresses performance trends through collaborating with Product Executives, advises managers on disciplinary matters and contributes to the employee and candidate experience. The role innovates improvements across the employee lifecycle.
You will be responsible for:
Recruitment:

  • Role Scoping and Development: Collaborate with department heads to proactively define role needs. Co-develop and update job descriptions, including person specifications.
  • Proactive Recruitment Planning: Proactively identify recruitment needs using staffing calculators.
  • Job Offers and Contracting: Sign off on and approve job offers, then handle contracting for incoming employees and/or independent contractors.
  • Relevant policies reviewed, updated and enforced
  • Attraction Strategies: Develop effective attraction strategies to attract suitable talent.
Organisational Design:
  • Develop a deep understanding of product design, operations, structure, and needs to enhance relationships and collaboration.
  • Develop and deliver talent acquisition frameworks, policies, procedures, toolkits, and guidelines.
  • Staffing Calculator Maintenance: regularly review, update and redesign staffing calculators to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Organisational Structure Management: conduct periodic reviews of the current organisation structure. Develop the organisational structure for a rolling three-year period, considering organisational design principles for best practice.
Compliance:
  • Ensure alignment with employment equity priorities and obligations.
  • Compliance with Employment Equity Legislation is maintained
Staff Retention:
  • Co-create conditions that retain employees and enable them to perform and develop in their roles.
  • Analyse monthly retention reports, identify trends and action items.
  • Develop and implement action items to address retention issues in specific areas.
  • Identify and nurture talent within LabourNet through succession pipelining and advanced people development programmes to drive future growth and success.
Performance Improvement:
  • Balance Scorecard Implementation: Create, update, and implement Balance Scorecard templates (BSC) with relevant management.
  • Review all Balance Scorecard scores and analyze performance trends.
  • Ensure that effective change management and communication takes place across the business.
Salary: R37800 - R42900 (Dependent on experience)

Qualifications
This role requires a self-starter who goes beyond task execution, actively seeking out challenges to solve and improvements to implement across the employee lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A NQF 8 Honours Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 4 - 5 years experience in a Human Resource Manager or Business Partner role.
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational design.
  • Demonstrated experience in group performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment management.
Experience Required:
  • Strong working knowledge of the Employee Lifecycle
  • Understanding of organisational design and staff retention strategies.
  • Proven track record in identifying and engaging senior talent.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage technology for sourcing strategies and decisions.
  • Experience in organisational change and business transformation
