The Group Office provides strategic direction and support to the four clusters, assisting them in realising their strategies and meeting their business objectives. The Group Office is responsible for governance and for the Group's centralised functions, which include: Finance, Actuarial and Risk Management, Strategy, Human Resources, Market Development and Sustainability.
What will you do?
A role exists in the People Development and Growth department, reporting to Head: People Development for a graduate Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling tasks set out by the department, attending of meetings and taking of minutes, performing research, updating of records. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in various work assignments, projects and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable him/her to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.

Routines are generally prescribed, and supervision is readily available. What will make you successful in this role?
Provide administrative support to the Learning and Development team.
Provide project support for Learning and Development programmes.
Provide support with the implementation of Group development programmes.
Provide administrative and reporting support on the Learning Management System and other Learning Portals used in projects.
Provide support to learners on Group Development programmes. Qualification and Experience
Hold a Human Resources Degree or other relevant field or a 3 year National Diploma. Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of HR practices and principles
Knowledge of legislation which influences Learning and Development (Skills Development, BBBEE Act)
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook
Record keeping, filing and maintenance of databases
Data collection and processing of transactions
Reporting and Administration
Quality, compliance and accreditation
