HR/IR Generalist - Claremont, CPTdiverse group of companies with interests in a number of activities including Telecommunications, fibre provisioning, an ISP, Water and Electricity Utility Management, Property Management and related activities, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional HR Generalist to work closely with the HR team and provide overall administrative support.The role would suit a motivated administrator with a high degree of attention to detail and/or keen interest in working in Recruitment and Human Resources.If you like working in a fast paced environment then this is the opportunity for you!DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:Talent Acquisition Administration Duties:Maintaining Talent Acquisition Administration tracker spreadsheet and ensuring that everything is actioned in a timely mannerProviding a customer-focused service to applicants and managers, responding promptly to queries received through on the Talent Acquisition tracker spreadsheetPrepare employment contracts with necessary documentation (dummy payslip, etc)Extend offer to successful candidates verbally and in writingInduction and onboarding of new employees and logging of relevant internal forms to ensure that all the departments are up to date with any new joinersComplete relevant vetting checks e.g telephonic references and credit and criminal checksOrganise, compile and update company personal records and documentationUpdating all HR logs and systems with any new starters and leaversAssist with weekly and monthly reportingEnsure that Recruitment Letter of Appointments and s are kept up to dateIR Administration Duties:Draft change in conditions of employment, promotions and increase lettersProvide admin support to HR teamDraft and facilitate the issuing of formal counselling forms, warnings and disciplinary hearing notices.Draft records of performance discussions and facilitate the 6 week performance management process.Facilitate and manage the tracking of all competency trackersManage the probation process by completing internal forms and drafting of probation lettersResponsible for managing and keeping up to date the internal policy, procedure index, this can range from saving signed off policies and procedures to the Google Drive, as well sharing it with relevant staff members to archiving policies and procedures that are no longer in useManaging, drafting and reviewing maternity trackerFacilitating exit interviews when requiredChairing on hearings when requiredREQUIREMENTSMatricCompleted Tertiary Degree (Advantageous)Proven experience in a Recruitment or IR administrator support roleSolid knowledge of BCEA, LRA, and related employment acts.Knowledge of EEA (Employment Equity Act)Experience of, or familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycleComputer literate - experience with the use of the Google Suite preferable (Google Drive, Sheets and Docs)Able to complete a complex administrative task with less supervisionSkills and Attributes:A team player with a passion for excellence and a sense of urgency who knows how to follow through with processes and project timelinesStrong multi-tasking, organisational, and time management skillsAble to maintain internal and external relationships with a diverse range of personalities, cultures, and departmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong decision making and analytical skillsThe ability to work well under pressureSelf-motivated, organised and detailed/results orientedBarista produced coffee available all day to all staff at the Claremont office.Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45 minute lunch break.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: R28,000.00 - R30,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Claremont, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
