Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
Tertiary qualification in Social work/ Psychology or equivalent
HR management Diploma/ Honors psychology is an added advantage
Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
Registration with professional council bodies i.e SACSSP OR HPCSA
Registration with EAPA-SA is an additional advantage
3 years experience in employee Wellness
Primary Duties
Conduct proactive Wellness programs
Advise line managers on managing absenteeism effectively
Provide confidential and therapeutic counselling services
To ensure an efficient administrative system of Wellness interventions
Maintain an effective system for the Wellness of staff and their families
To train supervisors and line managers on EAP management referral systems
Network and liaise with external Wellness service providers
Managing Wellness sectional assets
To service the business on managing ill health incapacity cases
Coordinate long-service and retirement functions for the employees at site
Knowledge
Minimum knowledge of relevant legislation: Child Care Act, OHS Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Public Financial Management Act, Professional Code of Ethics (SACSSP /HPCSA), EAPA Standards.
