Introduction
A leading international mining company based in Polokwane, Limpopo, is seeking a skilled HR, Recruiting and Labour Relations Specialist to join their dynamic Human Resources team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in South African labour law, recruitment, and employee relations, with experience in the mining, construction, or engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, interviews, background checks, and onboarding.
Develop and maintain job descriptions and ensure recruitment aligns with EEA and B-BBEE targets.
Serve as the main contact for employee relations matters and ensure compliance with LRA, BCEA, and EEA.
Support and participate in disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, and CCMA matters.
Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR records, and reports.
Manage employee onboarding, exits, and HR analytics (EEA reporting, turnover, recruitment metrics).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years' HR experience in a Generalist or Labour Relations capacity.
Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA).
Experience in Mining, Construction or Engineering is essential.
Previous international corporate experience is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
