Duties and responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for quality control and review of all data captured on HR PeopleSoft.
  • Handle all administration related to annual salary adjustments in conjunction with ICT Services and the Remuneration Specialist.
  • Manage the leave system and ensure compliance with the leave policy.
  • Handle administration regarding the retirement funds of the UFS in terms of appointments, terminations and deaths.
  • Handle funeral claims.
  • Handle medical incapacity cases and liaise with the insurer.
  • Manage medical aid administration and year-end information sessions.
  • Provide support, supervision, and training to the team within the Section.
  • Supervise and mentor interns of the Section.
Inherent requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree or an Advanced Diploma/B.Tech degree/Postgraduate Certificate on NQF level 7 in Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience relating to the duties and responsibilities.
Recommendations:
  • Honours' degree on NQF level 8 in HR or related fields.
  • Knowledge of the HR Peoplesoft system.
  • Experience in HR administration

01 November 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package, including benefits, is R408 148.51- R513 407.84 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
