Job Description

HR Officer Report to: Operations
Seniority Level: Mid-Career (3 - 5 yrs exp)
Region: Secunda Mpumalanga
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee contracts, onboarding, and terminations for project personnel.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation compliance.
  • Assist in recruitment, shortlisting, and scheduling of interviews for project roles.
  • Coordinate medicals, inductions, and site access requirements.
  • Support line management with employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
  • Compile monthly HR reports and assist payroll with accurate timesheet submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, and company HR policies.
Requirements:
  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management.
  • 3-5 years' HR experience, preferably in industrial, construction, or petrochemical sectors.
  • Solid understanding of HR compliance and site-based HR administration.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
