A well-established manufacturing concern in Epping is seeking an HRO to join their team.

The HR Officer will provide support across the full employee lifecycle. The role would entail: - Serve as a first point-of-contact for departments regarding HR questions, queries, needs and problem resolution (150 factory workers, 80 - back office) - Provide advice and connect departments to resources, services and information - Provide expertise on a broad and comprehensive range of HR activities, including recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management & industrial relations - HR Admin: all statutory leave admin (leave recon, capturing leave, leave stats and analysis); EE stats; skills development admin; headcount stats; employment contract renewals; management and maintenance of all staff employment records; scheduling of meetings; all off-boarding/exit documentation; HR reports - Recruitment and Selection: full function of recruitment, including drafting of the ad, shortlisting, interviewing, security vetting and reference checks, offer letters & employment contracts - Orientation and Induction: administration of the on-boarding process; arranging access for all new staff; probationary period reviews; - Industrial Relations: 1st line support, advice and guidance to all staff; facilitation of disciplinary discussions; ensure that disciplinary records are recorded and maintained; ensure that grievances and employee complaints are resolved in a way that prevents HR and business risk - Learning and Development: identify learning needs and suitable learning interventions, sourcing of training courses, tracking of all training, skills plan submission, training reports - Employee relations and well-being: plan, organise and execute all events, culture building activities, competitions, and team building for all staff; - HR Compliance and Reporting: Knowledge and understanding of legislative compliance (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, COIDA, Health and safety); Ensure operational processes and controls are in place to ensure statutory compliance; Compile workplace skills plans, annual training report, EE plan, EE report to relevant internal and external bodies - Performance management: coordinate all performance management administration Requirements: - Impressive and extraordinary admin skills; (it's a transactional role) - A proactive approach and thrive on putting structure in place; - Above average attention to detail; - Experience working in manufacturing/ production environment; - Relevant HR qualification & 3 - 5 years experience - Solid experience in industrial relations; - High proficiency with MS Office; - Core values of: integrity, quality, community, confidentiality, accountability - Must be able to speak & understand AFRIKAANS - Willing to work on-site in Epping Job Type: Full-time Salary: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month Application Question(s):
