Job Description


We are currently looking for a Human Resource Officer for the Western Cape to provide prompt and accurate support to employees and managers with Human Resource related queries; ensuring that the payroll system is updated and accurate at all times in accordance with Company compliance policies and PSIRA regulations for the Security Sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Weekly campaigning and sourcing with travelling to handle community and institutions networking to place skills
  • Create internal and external candidate vetted and talent database - sound file creation and references checks to meet technical skills
  • Design and develop bulk recruitment projects, willingness to travel and work independently
  • Complete sound HR administration and payroll input as per deadlines
  • Pre-screening of candidates and conduct panel interviews with line management
  • Effectively preside in disciplinary, grievance and performance hearing matters
  • Competent representation of dismissal disputes in the CCMA
  • Maintain accurate disciplinary dockets and records with effective calendar / diary entries
Skills and Competencies
  • Planning, Organizing and Project management skills to compile reports on statistics and trends
  • Client focus with knowledge to apply labour relations and CCMA principles
  • Sense of accountability and delivering on sound communication feedback
  • Sound proficiency in digital platforms to track job applicants and systems
  • Knowledge to ensure effective HR administrative functions
  • Excellent intermediate MS Office skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to handle confidence and interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to interact within a diverse cultural environment
Qualifications
  • Matric and relevant tertiary qualification in technical human resources management
  • 1-3 years experience within security service industry advantageous
  • Valid driverxe2x80x99s license and own vehicle advantageous
