Kenrick Recruitment are currently seeking a dynamic Human Resource (HR) & Internal Relations Manager for a company based in Cape Town! As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in recruitment, training, career development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, employment law, compliance, and other HR-related functions. This position reports directly to the Group Financial Manager and indirectly to the CEO. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent recruitment of exceptional staff based on departmental requirements.
  • Oversee and streamline the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Provide training, counseling, and coaching to staff members.
  • Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
  • Execute necessary administrative duties related to HR functions.
  • Coordinate performance and wage reviews in collaboration with Senior Management.
  • Update and develop clear policies, ensuring awareness among all employees.
  • Generate clear and concise reports for management.
  • Deliver helpful and engaging presentations.
  • Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance.
  • Foster a strong working relationship with the Companyxe2x80x99s Labour Consultants.
  • Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures with the guidance of the Companyxe2x80x99s Labour consultants.
  • Safeguard employee and workplace privacy.
  • Oversee Employment Equity Reporting.
  • Manage Workmenxe2x80x99s Compensation Letter of Good Standing Renewal.
  • Handle Workmenxe2x80x99s Compensation claims and follow up as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in human resources management or equivalent (nice to have).
  • Proven experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in educating and coaching staff.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in maintaining workplace privacy.
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
