Job Description
The HR director is seeking a Intern who would be looking to gain experience in the recruitment field with an option to become permanent after probation
We are looking for young ambitious candidates with experience and passion to gain experience in the HR and recruitment field
You would recruit for our Call centre in Johannesburg and our twelve retail stores under the Good knight bedding brand which is owned by the mercury group
Your primary function will be interviewing in person or virtually depending on the location of the stores we have store throughout south africa
You will be in charge off screening cv,s and selection of candidates as well as dealing with performance perimeters and hr processes such as disciplinary enquiries and performance management and work closely with the HR director who will five final approval on placements

Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with candidates and hiring managers.Interpersonal:
The ability to build rapport, manage relationships, and navigate sensitive situations is essential.Organizational & Time Management:
Recruiters handle multiple tasks and deadlines, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.Interviewing:
Experience with various interview formats (phone screenings, in-person, group interviews) is expected.Sourcing & Screening:
Ability to identify and evaluate potential candidates from various sources (resume databases, professional networks, social media).Negotiation:
Effective negotiation skills are needed to discuss job offers and compensation packages with candidates.Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR Information Systems (HRIS), and other recruitment technologies is important.Passion for HR and Talent Acquisition:
A genuine interest in connecting people with opportunities and contributing to organizational success.Ability to Learn:
Recruiters should be adaptable and willing to learn about new roles, industries, and technologies.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
