HR Intern
Job Overview
Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources contributing to the implementation of HR processes and initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Onboarding
o Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements.
o Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with candidates.
o Participate in interview scheduling and feedback tracking.
o Support onboarding processes, including document preparation and orientation scheduling.
2. Employee Records Management
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
o Ensure proper filing of employee contracts, performance records, and personal information in compliance with data privacy regulations.
3. Training and Development
o Assist in coordinating training sessions and maintaining training records.
o Track employee attendance and feedback for development programs.
4. HR Compliance and Policy Support
o Help ensure adherence to company policies and labour legislation.
o Participate in updating HR policies and procedure manuals as needed.
5. Employee Engagement
o Assist in planning and organising employee engagement initiatives and events.
o Gather feedback and data for engagement-related reporting.
6. Payroll and Benefits Support
o Assist in payroll processing by gathering timekeeping data and other relevant inputs.
o Provide support in managing employee benefit programs and related documentation.
7. HR Reporting and Analytics
o Prepare basic HR reports, such as attendance, leave balances, and recruitment metrics.
o Participate in data collection for HR audits and compliance reviews.
8. General Administrative Support
o Handle correspondence, schedule meetings, and manage calendars for HR personnel.
o Respond to general HR-related queries from employees and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
Experience
Previous internship experience or exposure to HR functions (advantageous).

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: R4000,00 - R4500,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
* JHB, Gauteng: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
