Role Overview:





The HR Intern will provide hands-on support to the HR Manager. This role offers exposure to the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, reporting, and people projects. The intern will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure efficient, professional, and people-centred HR service delivery. This is a 12-month internship role.

Primary Roles and responsibilities will include:




Talent Acquisition & Recruitment




Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection activities. Screen CVs and respond to applicants within 1-3 working days. Distribute technical and skills assessments and upload results to the HR system. Liaise with hiring managers to obtain interview feedback within agreed timelines. Support the recruitment of junior and intern-level roles. Schedule and coordinate pre-screening, technical and panel interviews. Take and upload interview notes onto the HR system. Build candidate lists through LinkedIn sourcing and support headhunting activities. Assist with talent mapping initiatives.



Onboarding & Offboarding




Upload contracts and documentation onto the HR system by start date. Coordinate pre-onboarding communication and documentation with new hires. Support onboarding activities and respond to ad hoc onboarding requests. Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews, collection of company assets, revoking system access, and ensuring proper documentation is completed. Help maintain a smooth transition for departing employees while capturing feedback to improve HR processes.



HR Systems & People Operations




Maintain and update employee records in the HR system. Assist with quarterly HR system audits (including BambooHR). Support HR system updates and handle ad hoc system requests. Support updates to the Employee Handbook. Assist with general People Operations tasks and projects. Support employee lifecycle administration, including joiners, movers and leavers.



Candidate & Stakeholder Experience




Deliver a professional, engaging candidate experience across all interactions. Manage and resolve recruitment and HR-related queries. Maintain accurate documentation of all candidate and stakeholder correspondence. Ensure clear, consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.



Administration & Compliance




Adhere to all recruitment and HR policies, processes and procedures. Ensure accurate filing, documentation and data integrity across systems. Support general office administration and operational tasks as required. Support payroll data coordination by ensuring accurate employee information is maintained and shared, where required.

Qualifications & Experience:




Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology (or similar) Good knowledge of Google Suite and HRIS or ATS (Ideally BambooHR) would be an advantage Excellent communication (both written and verbal) Excellent coordination skills and personal drive Organised and a keen eye for detail Passion for people and what motivates them To be self-motivated, and take responsibility for your own development To be a team player A strong ability to learn
