About Our Client
Our client is a well-established company in the agriculture and manufacturing sector, providing innovative products and services to support farming and food production.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent pipeline development
• Act as the first point of contact for employees, addressing HR queries and resolving conflicts
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, and performance management
• Administer benefits, support payroll accuracy, and conduct market research on compensation
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and record-keeping requirements
• Identify training needs, organise development programs, and support retention strategies
• Lead HR reporting, including EE, SETA, and performance metrics
• Represent the company in IR matters and at the CCMA when required
• Conduct climate surveys, analyse findings, and recommend solutions
• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices while fostering a positive workplace culture
• Understands Agriculture and manufacturing industry

The Successful Applicant
A successful Human Resources Generalist should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field
• 5 years' HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
• Proficiency in English
• SABPP or CHRO certification
• Strong knowledge of Labour Law, B-BBEE, Employment Equity, and HR best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters
• Experience in performance management and diversity & inclusion initiatives
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in agriculture and manufacturing industry
• Based in Gauteng
