Job Summary
Our client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team in Cape Town. This role requires a proactive and resilient individual with a solid background in manufacturing and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives
Drive talent management initiatives including succession planning, performance management, and employee development
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal HR policies
Support and guide management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
Lead and implement HR projects and change initiatives
Provide accurate HR reporting and analytics to support decision-making
Collaborate with the broader HR team to drive consistency and operational excellence

Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
68 years experience in a similar HR Business Partner role
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment (non-negotiable)
Solid understanding of South African labour laws and HR best practices
The candidate must reside within 25km of Montague Gardens
Clear employment history with explanations for any gaps and reasons for leaving previous roles
Qualifications
Relevant HR or Industrial Psychology degree/diploma
