The Employee Relations Team continuous endeavor is to create and maintain a positive relationship with its employees in all aspects - contractual, practical, corporal and emotional dimensions. ER Team focuses and liaises both on individual and collective relationships in the workplace with an increasing emphasis on the relationship between managers and their team members for increased well-being and greater performance. The ER Team assists in creating, enforcing and governing policies that are fair and consistent for everyone at the workplace
What Youll Do:
u Assume complete responsibility for managing the entire employee lifecyclefrom hiring to retirement.
u Oversee and ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll and related compliance activities.
u Take full ownership and lead initiatives related to the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
u Design, implement, and oversee company-wide employee engagement programs.
u Manage employee grievances effectively, Investigations ensuring timely resolution and fair outcomes.
u Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, reviews, and feedback cycles.
u Monitor employee attrition trends and develop strategies to enhance retention.
u Plan and execute impactful employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
u Oversee the Rewards and Recognition program to motivate and acknowledge outstanding contributions.
Regularly assess employee satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
u Bachelors degree or diploma, preferably in Human Resources.
u 3 to 6 years of experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization.
u Strong knowledge of South African labor laws, statutory compliance, compensation & benefits, and payroll processes.
u Proven ability to understand complex HR issues and effectively manage conflict resolution.
u Highly energetic, passionate, and focused on delivering results.
u Excellent interpersonal skills with experience collaborating across multiple leadership levels within the organization.
u Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
u Skilled in conducting investigations and facilitating positive outcomes.
