Job purpose

  • The Junior HR Business Partner is responsible for providing multilevel support to both employees and managers. They works closely with the HR Business Partners in order to deliver an HR agenda that closely supports the overall business objectives and priorities of the organisation. The Junior HR Business Partner contributes to the achievement of business objectives in areas such as employment, performance management, compensation, career development and competency development through being a trusted advisor on these topics and knowing when to escalate. They play an active role in HR Projects and ensures policies and processes are embedded and practiced within the business while maintaining positive employee relations and compliance with legislation and company policies, practices and procedures.
Key responsibilities
  • First line of contact for employees and managers; advise and support management and employees on performance management, resource planning, absence management, labour legislation, etc.;
  • Ensure that HR policies, processes and initiatives are known and practiced business wide, whilst effectively building relationships within the office and TMF Group network in order to share best practices;
  • Play an active role in HR projects by either identifying areas of improvement or participating in projects with team members, to work towards an increasingly professional HR organisation;
  • Deal with sensitive day to day people management issues
  • Update and improve labour policies & procedures in line with legislation and ensuring correct communication and implementation together with HR Business Partners;
  • Extracting HR data and translating to useable information for managers and support functions;
  • When necessary; support in HR administration such as on- and offboarding, employee data changes, absence registration, UWV request and follow up. Ensuring that workflow processes are handled in a timely manner by all stakeholders/other support departments.
Key requirements
  • A finished bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or another related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an international organisation as HR Coordinator, HR Officer or HR Generalist;
  • Ability to engage with the business and understand their goals and needs;
  • You are service oriented, pragmatic, collaborative and a strong communicator;
  • Strong coordinating skills, being able to keep track of several different workflows in a high-paced work environment;
  • You are fluent in English.
