The HR and Payroll Administrator will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient human resources and payroll administrative support. The role ensures the effective processing of payroll, maintenance of employee records, and coordination of core HR processes, while ensuring compliance with labour legislation, organisational policies and confidentiality requirements.

Core Activities
Accurately process monthly payroll in line with approved policies and payroll deadlines.
Prepare and submit payroll-related reports and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Assist in employee lifecycle processes including appointments, contract changes, and terminations.
Support onboarding and exit processes
Ensure compliance with relevant labour legislation (e.g. BCEA, LRA, POPIA) and internal policies.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee and payroll information.
Assist with audits and compliance reporting where required.
Monitor leave balances and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Liaise with service providers where applicable (UIF, SARS and Compensation Fund.).
Respond to HR and payroll-related enquiries professionally and timeously.
Assist HR Manager where necessary.
Generate routine HR and payroll reports for HR Manager and statutory purposes.
Maintain HR and payroll systems and databases.
Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
Contribute to efficient, well-controlled HR operations.
Education Requirements
Certificate/Diploma: Human Resource Management or relevant (NQF 5)
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years Relevant HR and Payroll Experience
Experience in Tooling/Manufacturing Industry would be an advantage or
Experience in a Higher Educational Training environment would be an advantage
