Bidvest Tank Terminals has an opportunity for an HR Administrator Temp. This opportunity exists within the Human Resource Department, based in Head Office, reporting to the HR Generalist. The candidate must meet the following minimum criteria.



Responsible for effective and efficient Human Resources administration services for Head Office & Isando.

Minimum Requirements




Matric



Relevant HR Qualification



2 years' experience in a Human Resources role



SAP HCM experience

Duties and Responsibilities




Responsible for Recruitment, Selection, Appointment and Onboarding, in line with BTT policies and procedures



Co-ordinate and/or conduct all pre-employment screening checks including references



Responsible for ensuring all admin is completed during the termination process



Monitor fixed term contracts expiry and renewals



Assist with employee movements i.e. promotions, demotions, transfers



Ensure SAP HCM capturing is completed as and when changes take place



Ensure HR Information Systems both digital and physical are kept up to date



Update relevant HR trackers on a monthly basis



Approve leave according to BTT policy as the HR Approver



Responsible for Benefits administration and coordination (medical aid, medical insurance, retirement funds and gap cover)



Assist with performance management and provide guidance to employees



Complete the monthly payroll and benefits input (including but not limited to salary notifications, overtime, expense claims, memos, terminations, standby)



Assist with time and attendance and resolve queries



Participate, coordinate and keep records of disciplinary action and grievances



Participate in HR Audits and provide information as required



Draft general HR documentation



Raise purchase requisitions on SAP



Submit the monthly long service memo to payroll and draft long service letters


Knowledge, skills and abilities required

Excellent interpersonal skills



Good communication skills (written and verbal)



Knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act and Labour Relations Act
