:A culinary higher education institute is hiring a Human Resource Administrator. You'll play a key role in supporting the HR department's day-to-day operations and be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, managing HR systems, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in HR practices and procedures. The role can be a full-day or a reduced day of six hours, depending on your needs.Key Responsibilities:1. Employee Records and Data Management

  • Maintain and update employee databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Manage personnel files, including employment contracts, performance evaluations, and disciplinary records.
  • Track employee attendance and leave (holiday, sick, etc.) to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Operate and maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) to streamline data management and reporting.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparing welcome materials, collecting documentation, and coordinating orientation schedules.
  • Assist employees with benefits , provide information, and ensure compliance with company benefits policies.
3. Compliance and Legal Matters
  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with current labour laws and employment regulations.
  • Assist in reviewing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  • Manage and maintain employment-related legal documentation such as contracts and termination agreements.
4. Employee Relations and Communication
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues by providing support and guidance under HR supervision.
  • Communicate HR updates and policy changes to employees in a clear and timely manner.
5. Administrative Support
  • Organise and coordinate logistics for HR events, training sessions, and meetings.
  • Prepare and generate HR reports and presentations on key metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and training outcomes.
  • Perform general office administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, answering phones, and managing correspondence.
RequirementsQualifications and skills
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 45 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
