Job Summary ? ?? is partnering with a prestigious, luxury lodge in the Eastern Cape to identify an experienced and energetic We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager with excellent 5* experience to join the opening team of a new ultra-luxury eco lodge nestled in the Eastern Cape. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating immaculate and serene environments, and who thrives in delivering the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day housekeeping operations, setting up SOPs, training staff, and maintaining the exceptional quality that defines a world-class lodge experience, while respecting and supporting our eco-conscious ethos. Key Requirements Proven experience in a senior housekeeping role at a 5-star lodge, boutique hotel, or luxury resort. Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic presentation and guest comfort. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a housekeeping team. Experience in pre-opening or lodge start-up environments highly advantageous. Hands-on and proactive approach, with the ability to lead by example and support the team operationally. Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices and commitment to sustainability principles. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing inventory, linen, amenities, and turn-down schedules efficiently. Professional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with other departments and ensure seamless guest experiences.
