Summary
Well known Property Managment Company Seeks a dynamic and socially driven Housing Finance & Programme Manager to their team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an initiative that helps South African families become homeowners in the affordable housing market, by enabling them to use rental income from part of their home to support their bond repayments.
The role spans across home sales facilitation, bond origination coordination, developer liaison, and post-purchase rental support -- ensuring clients are supported from application to ownership,and beyond.
Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Home Purchase Facilitation

  • Identify and engage potential buyers for affordable homes within partner developments.
  • Lead and manage a small sales team consulting with clients on affordability models that include projected rental income.
  • Educate buyers on how their home's rental potential supports bond qualification and affordability.
2. Bond Origination & Pipeline Management
  • Manage the end-to-end pipeline of bond applications with partner banks and bond originators.
  • Track client progress from application to approval and coordinate all relevant documentation.
  • Report regularly to financial partners and developers on client status and deal flow.
3. Developer Coordination
  • Liaise with property developers regarding unit availability, pricing, and construction timelines.
  • Oversee the handover process from developer to purchaser after bond registration.
  • Ensure all compliance, legal, and financial steps are completed smoothly.
4. Post-Purchase Rental Support
  • Assist new homeowners to rent out designated rooms to reliable tenants.
  • Manage a small team of local leasing agents to source tenants, handle viewings, and ensure consistent rent collection.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to purchasers on managing their rentals effectively.
5. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Produce regular reports for banks, developers, and internal stakeholders on:
  • Bond pipeline status
  • Occupancy and rental performance
  • Defaults or vacancies
  • Client progress and intervention actions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of client onboarding and rental management processes.

  • Enjoys seeing families progress from tenants to homeowners -- and remain successful homeowners.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Degree / Diploma or Certificates would be an added advantage
  • Strong background in property finance, bond origination, or affordable housing sales.
  • Registration with the PPRA and valid FFC will be advantageous.
  • Experience working with banks, developers, or rental management teams.
  • Excellent coordination and pipeline management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills across multiple stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to produce clear, actionable reports.
  • Fluency in English / Afrikaans
  • Driver's license and own vehicle (required). Will be required to conduct site visits in Mamelodi and Protea Glen at least once a week. The rest of the time the place of work will be Pretoria.
