Guest Services
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival in a warm and friendly manner.
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes.
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints or issues promptly.
Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction at all times.
Reservations & Administration
Handle reservations via phone, email, online platforms, and in person.
Update guest records and ensure accurate data entry into the reservation system.
Manage payments, invoices, and refunds in accordance with hotel policies.
Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest requests are fulfilled.
Communication & Coordination
Liaise with other hotel departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Restaurant, Management) to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate special guest requests, VIP arrivals, or issues to management.
Assist with night audit or end-of-shift procedures when required.
Education & Experience Requirements
Matric / High School Certificate required
Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
Familiarity with hotel PMS / reservation systems (advantageous)
Basic computer literacy (Email, MS Office)
