Minimum 2 years experience as a hotel receptionist in a 4/5-star property (experience in 300+ room hotels advantageous)
Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and guest service orientation
Professional, well-presented, and guest-centric approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must hold a valid South African ID

Welcome and engage guests with warmth and professionalism; assist VIP arrivals and departures
Handle efficient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring billing accuracy and room readiness
Process reservations, amendments, cancellations, and group bookings accurately in Opera PMS
Maintain a neat, organised, and fully stocked reception desk
Liaise with Housekeeping, Porters, Room Service, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service
Attend daily briefings, provide handovers, and communicate relevant guest or operational updates
Perform end-of-shift checks and complete handover tasks, ensuring no unresolved guest issues remain
Uphold the hotels standards of professionalism, grooming, and guest interaction
