Job Summary Nestled in the Stellenbosch winelands, this esteemed estate offers a diverse array of experiences, including fine dining, wine tasting, golf, and cultural events. The on-site restaurant, led by an award-winning Executive Chef, provides guests with an inspired culinary journey that captures the essence of the Cape winelands. The estate is seeking a Hotel Hostess to enhance the guest experience. This role involves welcoming and seating guests, managing reservations, and coordinating with staff to ensure seamless service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Candidate Requirements:
- Matric/ Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Min of 1 years experience in a similar Hostess role
- A good understanding of Restaurant Etiquette
- Experience in managing restaurant Reservations
- Be a team player
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Be an organized individual with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Availability to work within hospitality hours (e.g. evenings, public holidays, weekends)
- Be fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
- Able to handle a high-pressure environment
- Must be well-presented and enthusiastic personality
