Job Summary
HOTEL FINANCIAL OPERATIONS MANAGER, CAPE TOWN
A hotel group in Cape Town is seeking to employ a Hotel Financial Operations Manager.
Looking for a candidate who is flexible with start date as it is an urgent position.
Technical / proficiency competencies:
Knowledge of statutory legal and tax requirements
Strong technical knowledge including IFRS developments
Strong knowledge of accounting systems
Gaming and hospitality industry knowledge
Team Planning
Product & Trend Analysis
Stock control
Proficiency in MS Office
IFS Finance an advantage
Keep abreast of new developments in the financial and tax fields
Manage SLA between the unit and SSC
Minimum Qualifications
Apply Below Honours (CTA) with Articles or equivalent
Registration as a Chartered Accountant an advantage
At least 5 years' experience in a general financial management environment.

  • Experience in a hospitality/gaming environment an advantage
Scope and limits of the job
Manage a team of professionals that prepare and control budgets for multiple departments within the business unit
