Hot Work Operator

What you will enjoy doing

You will ensure that proper serviceability of LPG, Ammonia and Refrigerant cylinders and drums is carried out Ensuring that maintained cylinders subjected to hot works comply with legal and company requirements will be high on your agenda You will perform all administration and logistical tasks to deliver on job objectives You will be responsible for Oxy-acetylene steel cutting, welding, heating and grinding of cylinders Arc welding will be part of your responsibilities Additionally, you will conduct manual tool repair and replacement of cylinder shroud/valve guards, and foot rings

What makes you great

You possess a Welder or Boilermaker Trade certificate Two or more years relevant experience, welding and grinding experience is essential Safe use of grinding, welding equipment and hand tools is required Must have understanding of hazards associated with welding, grinding and manual handling Exposure to pressure vessels, receptacles and gas operations is essential A welder coded to a carbon-steel to carbon steel procedure is required
